    Jacksonville Photographer|Birthday| Liam’s turning 1

    September 3, 2010

This precious boy has become almost like another family member to me. I photographed his parents maternity shoot and was supposed to shoot his arrival but things took another turn for Liam. Liam was born with down syndrome and it was never detected before hand. He is such a special little boy and oh so bright. He is just like any 1 year old…but Liam has more. He is full of life and has so much joy for a little one. He LOVES his parents and it shows but he is also strong and independent and very much a boy.
Happy Birthday, Liam. I am looking forward to being right there with the camera to my face to document more of you. You are such a special boy and I just adore your mommy & daddy.

Project 52|26 of 52|Jump for Joy

    June 26, 2010

“It’s possible to forget how alive we really are. We can become dry and tired, just existing, instead of really living. We need to remind ourselves of the juice of life, and make that a habit. Find those places inside that jump for joy, and do things”

    Smiles of the heart
    * going to the doctor yesterday for N and the new doctor we saw actually listened to all my concerns!
    * the “mommy, I love you!” I got out of the blue when I really needed it
    * a friend calling to check on me because I had been “quiet” :)

    Jacksonville Photographer|Newborn|Baby “C”

    March 5, 2010

Oh this one gave me a run for my money. She was wide awake even after several bottles. And…. she was just 6 days old!! After I would pose her she would stay completely still then scream bloody murder when my finger was on the button. I almost gave uo after …oh an hour of only 1 picture that i didnt even like and I think may have been out of focus, lol! I remember deleting it and sitting there asn asking God for strength to get through this shoot. Once I relaxed and felt comfy again, so did Miss C.
Occasionally she would cry after i moved her from her warm spots that I made for her but nothing like the cries she was giving me before. I knew we were friends again when she peed on her nanas coffee table ;)

    March 5, 2010

Baby R is a sweetheart just like her mommy. ANd her fur brother and sister are HUGE but the sweetest dogs ever. I really wished they were patient enough to sit and take a picture with their little sis. ;)
I cant wait to photograph Miss R again and maybe her fur bro and sis can participate.

    Project 52|9 of 52|?

    February 23, 2010

I really don’t even know what to name this photo…I saw him stacking his cars on top of each other and I took several snaps of them…even them falling when he stacked them high. But I didn’t like all the motion. I’m not really a fan of motion blur. Maybe it will grow on me one day….blah!
This week was hard for me since I was sick and in tons of pain. Which is realy hard when you have 2 kids and your husband is in another country AND you live in the next county over.
I was sick and hurt my back really bad . I’ve never really had any back issues but this one sent me to the ER. I was afraid it was my kidneys and so were the doctors. I couldn’t drive, walk, get in bed, go up my steps OR sit! They had to end up giving me a shot to ease the pain. I don’t wish that kind of pain on anyone. I was on 3 pain pills and a muscle relaxer…which I have to add again…
VERY hard when you have 2 little ones! I was walking around like a zombie and when my husband called he said I sounded drunk and then when my weight loss buddy called she said you sound a) drunk b) depressed or c) exhausted… I just replied… ” nope, very drugged!”
I am feeling Much better now and I AM NOT taking it easy ;)
I really should be but I am bad and have a hard head I guess!

I thought I’d start putting my smiles of the heart on my 52 week projects.

    Today’s Smiles of the heart:
-Trinity climbing in my lap and I rocked her to sleep
-Picking Noah up from school and he got in and said, ” I missed you ALL day!”
-My husband serving 10 years in the military today. I am so proud of him and all the men and women who serve our country!
-A call from a friend who I haven’t spoken to in a while.
-Weighing in today and Losing another 2 pounds

anyway… Hopefully we will packing these coats up and wearing some nice bright spring wear SOON!! I am tired of wearing closed toed shoes… ;) I’m a flip flop ans sandal girl at heart…shew!
