    Project 52|9 of 52|?

    February 23, 2010

I really don’t even know what to name this photo…I saw him stacking his cars on top of each other and I took several snaps of them…even them falling when he stacked them high. But I didn’t like all the motion. I’m not really a fan of motion blur. Maybe it will grow on me one day….blah!
This week was hard for me since I was sick and in tons of pain. Which is realy hard when you have 2 kids and your husband is in another country AND you live in the next county over.
I was sick and hurt my back really bad . I’ve never really had any back issues but this one sent me to the ER. I was afraid it was my kidneys and so were the doctors. I couldn’t drive, walk, get in bed, go up my steps OR sit! They had to end up giving me a shot to ease the pain. I don’t wish that kind of pain on anyone. I was on 3 pain pills and a muscle relaxer…which I have to add again…
VERY hard when you have 2 little ones! I was walking around like a zombie and when my husband called he said I sounded drunk and then when my weight loss buddy called she said you sound a) drunk b) depressed or c) exhausted… I just replied… ” nope, very drugged!”
I am feeling Much better now and I AM NOT taking it easy ;)
I really should be but I am bad and have a hard head I guess!

I thought I’d start putting my smiles of the heart on my 52 week projects.

    Today’s Smiles of the heart:
-Trinity climbing in my lap and I rocked her to sleep
-Picking Noah up from school and he got in and said, ” I missed you ALL day!”
-My husband serving 10 years in the military today. I am so proud of him and all the men and women who serve our country!
-A call from a friend who I haven’t spoken to in a while.
-Weighing in today and Losing another 2 pounds

anyway… Hopefully we will packing these coats up and wearing some nice bright spring wear SOON!! I am tired of wearing closed toed shoes… ;) I’m a flip flop ans sandal girl at heart…shew!

    Faythe’s Shoot Group|Junkyard Pinup

    February 19, 2010

Finally…nothing got in the way and I was able to attend one of Faythe’s shoots.

The first day we were rained out but we were rescheduled pretty quickly for Monday. I was so excited when I woke up and came downstairs. I looked out my back window and the lake was so sparkly and pretty. It looked like it was going to be a perfectly beautiful day. Well…. like all things…beauty fades…lol!!
On my way to the shoot, the sky looked UGLY! Then as I stepped out my car the rain poured down. I grabbed my HUGE umbrella and covered 4 people who were standing there. Everyone was like OMG…she has a tent! lol Pretty funny!

    Anyway…
We took cover in the “garage” of the junk yard. Faythe was on it and quickly assigned our groups and we began shooting. The girls in my group were awesome! I think I ended up in another group by the end though some how, lol!
HUGE thank you to Faythe Mesic and her professional and wonderful colleagues, Sonia and Erin! Also to the wonderful models who came out… you all ROCKED… for REAL!

    my kids|my vday “stud”

    February 19, 2010

Noah asked me to take pictures of him but I wasnt allowed to tell him what to do.

We spent Vday going to church, then we went to Olive Garden and then shopping for clothes for the kiddos.
And WOW… now that my kids are “getting older” they want to dress themselves….ahem… look you are 5 and you are 3…. you are still “babies”
Trin told me as I picked up a cute pair of ballet flat shoes for her… ” Mom, those are NOT cool!” Excuse me little girl??? And they were on 80% clearance for $4!!! I said they are cute and she said, “Ugh…Mom! So not CUTE!” (I’m thinking we need to stop watching ICarly and Hannah Montana)

Anyway… Noah still wants to play on TV so he is always interested in his own little mini session, lol

Here goes handsome… ( I had nothing to do with his posing. I just sat there and held my lens with all my might hoping I didnt drop the darn thing) I dont know how people shoot weddings with that lens either…shew!

And Trin allowed me to take a pic of her boots…. hmmm… maybe I should start a collection of all her boots she owns fromt he time she was a baby til she turns 18! I have never seen a little girl so obsessed with shoes, clothes and jewelry so young. My goodness…I think we are in for it !
(notice they are on the wrong feet as well)

ok back to your regularly scheduled program…
    (his spinny belt )

(Im so glad they love each other… for now)

    my family|monkey

    February 15, 2010

It’s been a while since I seen my little monkey and it was so good to see her. She came to spend the weekend with me and her cousins. We had a blast the entire weekend. She is usually a ham for the camera but i hope next time I see her that circumstances are better and she will smile :)

    Project 52|6of52| Teamwork

    February 15, 2010

I now have the Wonder Pet song in my head… Whats gonna work… teamwork…

Saturdays are usually my days to get a good scrubbin in on the home. It usually take 2 whole days to clean this house though. 8 hours downstairs and 8 up. I have an obsession with vacuuming and have to do so every night before I can go to bed. Clean kitchen, vacuumed carpet and mopped kitchen and breakfast nook before I can head upstairs and close my eyes. Whats funny is that as a teenager, my mom would have to threaten me to clean up. I find myself in the same predicament with the diva… and she is only 3!
Noah has to often “help” her clean up, make her bed, put her laundry away, etc!! He is my little helper and does tons around the house.

So this week, I was sitting in the loft and looked up and Noah had convinced Trinity to clean her room and he would help her make her bed. They then proceeded to his room to use teamwork to make his bed :)
I hope Noah continues to be a neat freak and I hope that trin begins to WANT to clean up… ;)

    Jacksonville Photographer|Children| “Z”

    February 9, 2010

I have known Z’s mommy for years…we used to go to church together when we were about 12 or 13. We have been best friends for 17 years!! Wow!
I remember being in her wedding…and I remember when mister Z was born. And now he is almost 9 years old! Time flies….

Rhonda needed some updated photos of her big guy and although she owns her own camera and can take pictures…every mom knows that kids act better with someone else. I believe they call it “photographer child syndrome” lol. Rhonda is no “photographer”! She will tell you in a heartbeat that she is NOT professional and just loves to take pictures. She is good though but she loves her “real” job ;)

Project 52|5 of 52| My birthday!!

    February 9, 2010

February 7th was my birthday and I am inching more and more near that big ole 30! Oh boy!

My kids fixed PINK cupcakes for me…
I let Trinity keep all the ones she made ;)

I spent my day at a Super Bowl party with a good friend of mine, Christine Bryant. We had a good time celebrating, eating good food and watching some football…well…the women were in one room chatting it up and not really paying attention to the game, to be honest! :) I then made 2 additional stops after leaving her home before heading back to GCS to jump in the jacuzzi and relax….ahhh! I had such a busy weekend that ended up catching up with me and I woke up the next morning with a sore throat. Friday night…I went out with my girls to Joe’s Crab Shack where I danced the “chicken” in the restaurant. Ordinarily, I am a shy person and would have never done something like that in a million years. It was fun to laugh, get a full belly and just hang out with my girls. We left there and headed to Brusters….mmmm is all I’m gonna say about that. I tried to get a “healthy” ice cream but it still was just sinful, lol! The next day we went to a Rock Star Party and had a blast…kids wer all dressed up like punk rock stars…and wore back stage passes. So adorable!
