Running out the house…again….so just a teaser for now

I loved this little girl. She was way too cute. Her session didnt last too long because she wanted to be done so she could listen to her ipod and play, lol! But we will get to get together again soon, I’m sure

Allison LaCour of LaCour Beaute out of Orlando came to St. Augustine to meet me for another shoot to do some spring shots for her port. We had something totally differenet in mind BEFORE we got there and decided to go a whole different route when we actually got there, looked at colors and models…
I brought along the beautiful, Adanna. This was Adanna’s first time modeling anything but she knew how to work it…thanks Adanna ![]()
And Christine is also a makeup artist/designer out of Orlando who was our second model. So…I have never worked using a light setup outside so i had no idea what i was doing…but thank God i was able to practice. I still have no clue what I did wrong(or right) but I’m sure I was more wrong then right, lol!

and obviously we had something else in mind with Christina, lol!

Aubrey was such a good baby. Once her mom gave her some food, she went into a milk-induced coma
She was so tiny.
For this shoot, I was asked by another local photographer if she could tag along to see how a newborn session went since she is more of a wedding photographer. I was actually blown away that someone wanted to tag along with me. We had a good time working together, learning each others likes and dislikes and especially taking turns rocking the baby back to sleep.
Thank you, Tara for having us out to capture Miss Aubrey’s first week of life.

I was sitting in my office and glanced over at my 20D that had gotten the boot twice over and decided to blow the dust off it (literally) and head outside
Brought back memories on when we began…its still a great camera no matter what. And I dont think the images that come out of it are soft at all…
Mr. Twennie…I still luvs you!
(wide angle lens taken on 2nd level of my house) My backyard

Saw these buds on the bushes that the yard dude planted before we moved in…should have never sold my macro…gotta buy another one now…sigh…taken with 24-70L

Man, I tell you what…ever since moving to Green Cove Springs…I been getting some strange illnesses. I am generally a healthy person but I have been to the ER and doctor more in the last 6 months then I care for. Could it be GCS or could it just be my time to get sick??? hmmmm
lol
Anyway I been fighting this awful stomach bug. It was 5 days of YUCKINESS…which equals one tired mama since hubby is away. Thank God Noah was out of school for Thursday and Friday. Thank you Florida Christian Scholars…;)
Anyway…
Sometimes I really forget how great these “nifty fifty” lenses handle light…ahhh…love it!

Oh this one gave me a run for my money. She was wide awake even after several bottles. And…. she was just 6 days old!! After I would pose her she would stay completely still then scream bloody murder when my finger was on the button. I almost gave uo after …oh an hour of only 1 picture that i didnt even like and I think may have been out of focus, lol! I remember deleting it and sitting there asn asking God for strength to get through this shoot. Once I relaxed and felt comfy again, so did Miss C.
Occasionally she would cry after i moved her from her warm spots that I made for her but nothing like the cries she was giving me before. I knew we were friends again when she peed on her nanas coffee table

I see me when I look at her…she is mean like me
, sassy and a diva. I love her and even though she drives me craaaaaazy, I wouldn’t trade her for the world.

This weeks smiles of the heart:
Noah reading his reading book that he brought home from school for homework…oh I love to see kids learn.
A random kiss and I love you from the diva.
A new family member…and she is perfect!
11 pound weight loss…yippee!(although I cant tell yet, lol besides having to wear my belt a little tighter..hehe)
Joining the “runners” group to keep losing weight.
Baby R is a sweetheart just like her mommy. ANd her fur brother and sister are HUGE but the sweetest dogs ever. I really wished they were patient enough to sit and take a picture with their little sis. ![]()
I cant wait to photograph Miss R again and maybe her fur bro and sis can participate.
