We gad guest last week so Friday we headed down to beautiful Crescent Beach and enjoyed the day in Saint Augustine. Its so beautiful there and not many people on the beach. I love the beautiful white sand and blue water. Ahhh You just dont really get that in Jacksonville…instead you get an over crowded beach with black/brown water, lol
Well…sometimes…but I dont go enough to say that is always the case.
I love the beach especially when you can relax and enjoy the breeze, the sun and water and not have a care in the world….

Since N was 2, he has told my husband and I that he was gonna make a lot of money and buy us everything we ever wanted. When he heard the song by Travie McCoy, he grabbed his guitar and now that is his theme song, lol! I love how bright my child is. I seriously need to get him an agent….RIGHT NOW!

I got the pleasure of having my niece the whole weekend of 4th of July…those of you who know Lili know…well…she should have been born with RED hair, lol…because she uis definitely a firecracker.
I love that little girl to pieces. She has the personality that I thought she would…and I love it. I cant believe my bug will be turning 2 in a few months…wow!

For the past week and a half, my daughter has been “reminding” me to smile. She wakes me up in the morning by prying my eyes open with her little hands. Some days I pull the covers tight over my head and tell her to go back to bed, lol! But on those days when I really dont mind having my sleep interrupted because its yogalaties [yoga/pilates] time, she gives me the biggest smile ever.
I remember one day last week, I was getting ready to go to a meeting. As I came out the room. She said, ” Oh mommy you look beautiful….but you’re missing your smile!” I smiled really big every time I saw her…and she smiled back
I didn’t even think of this when she asked me to snap this photo of her this week. She said this was her “big smile!”
I say it doesn’t look like a smile at all…more like she is straining, lol…I know she has a beautiful smile so maybe that will be part 2 of her smile week.

* going to the doctor yesterday for N and the new doctor we saw actually listened to all my concerns!
* the “mommy, I love you!” I got out of the blue when I really needed it
* a friend calling to check on me because I had been “quiet”

You know… being a California girl… I should really love the sun…I don’t!! So you will hardly see Brandi outside during the day in the summer…. no way, jose! I refuse…lol!
ok…well I’m half telling the truth but i really do not like the sun…but I dont like the cold either….hmmm where will the Navy send us next, lol! I’m sure I will enjoy it even though I have a pretty good feeling I know where we are going next

and ummmm… shooting in the pitch black dark only using continous lighting is H-A-R-D…especially when you are a natural light shooter…oy!
I was definitely out of my comfort zone…Fa REALZ!
